Paul is getting ready for the season

Down here out of the mountains, spring is doing its best to try to arrive. Flood warnings for the Portneuf in Pocatello.

Down at the park last night, Paul was warming up for the season. He loves to throw rocks and sticks in the river!

This year, I'm going to get him to catch a fish! He likes to put a little stick on the river of his Thomas The Train play mat of the Island if Sodor and pull out make-believe fish. Sometimes he gets three at once! 

I don't know where he gets his ideas about fishing or how someone even fishes. I don't remember him watching me last summer and we haven't seen it on a video. But he definitely has his ideas about what fishing is all about.

BTW, is that river on the Island of Sodor the Sodor River?
