One week to get your Yellowstone Backcountry reservation request in!

A quick note to everyone that you have one week to get your reservation requests in for the good spots on the good days. Plan early for those September trips to make sure you get the spots you want on Slough Creek. Or for the salmon flies on the Yellowstone in July!  And basically anywhere in August.

Go to the files section at www.backcountrycutts.com for a free download template of the reservation request in powerpoint.....download, edit, print...it's that easy!

Good luck in the lottery!

It's available!

The book made it through the conversion process without any problems! Woohooo! So, it's available at http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/45770  I just uploaded a bigger cover photo, so that should be there when you get there.

I saw one type (forgot an "m" on "warm") and some of the inline links to chapters don't work. I'll update those.

Now, it gets distributed to Apple, Sony, Borders, and all the other big shops to get into their catalogs. Within two weeks, it will be available in all the major e-book formats.

Let me know what you think!

Getting it going!

Here we are....the first post for BackcountryCutts! I'm in the process of publishing my e-book "Yellowstone's Backcountry Cutthroats" at www.smashwords.com. This blog is a piece of our budding empire, along with www.backcountrycutts.com. Heck, I'm not even that great of a fisherman, angler, or whatever you want to call it. I just love the great outdoors, Yellowstone National Park in particular.

I hope to put a few things of interest on this blog whenever I see something that might be interesting. I'll probably keep it to one post a week or so, generally focused on some combination of fly fishing and family. As our kids get a bit older, we'll get out into the backcountry with them, and it will be exciting....every dream that a dad could have!
